Sandy's TV & Appliance is New Haven County's premiere destination for home theater products and major appliances with friendly, professional installation. Since 1949, our family-owned business has brought the best in televisions, sound systems, and major appliances to our neighbors' homes.
Santo "Sandy" Marino—aka Sandy Sr.—began the business with radios and black and white TVs. Sandy Sr. dedicated himself to continuing education courses to stay up to date on advancements in the field, bringing the latest innovations to the community. As technology evolved, so did the offerings at Sandy's TV & Appliances.
Sandy Jr. (known to customers and friends as Sandman) joined the company as an envelope-stuffer before learning to test TV tubes, set up antennas, and deliver and install major appliances. Sandy Sr. taught his son to treat customers like friends, and when he passed in 1995, Sandy Jr. took control of the business. Having performed every function of the business beginning in his youth, Sandy Jr. has a unique understanding of home appliance and entertainment products, installation, and maintenance, with the customer at the forefront of every decision.

We sell and repair all major appliance brands, including GE, Whirlpool, Frigidaire, Electrolux, LG, Samsung, Speed Queen, Crosley, and Maytag. We convert and install propane appliances, cooktops, wall ovens, over-the-range microwaves, refrigerators, washers, and dryers. Our factory-trained technicians can repair items in or out of warranty.

Sandy's also offers commercial sound for business. We have decades of experience installing paging and background systems for restaurants, offices, and other facilities.
